NOP Releases New Guides for Organic Production, Processing and Certification

Earlier this year, USDA launched its Organic Literacy Initiative: the first step in understanding organic certification. The Initiative includes self-paced training modules, outreach materials, and a guide to organic and organic-related USDA programs.
Learning more about specific types of organic production: crops, livestock, or processed products, is the next step for prospective organic operations. A common question is, what changes would need to be made to go organic? The following four guides are now available to answer this important question.
